Garnier Olia Permanent Hair Colour- Golden Light Brown. Part one

I have mentioned a few times recently that I have been getting bored with my hair and quite wanted to colour it a little lighter. I was given the opportunity to try Garniers new permanent hair colourant- Garnier Olia* and after reading into the product and the innovative technology that is behind the product, I jumped at the chance.

Garnier Olia is a permanent hair colour that is available in 21 different shades ranging from shiny Blacks, intense Reds, Violets, Browns and Blondes. The product uses a patent protected, amonia free formula that is concentrated in oil, making it the first oil powered hair dye ever. Garnier claim that is has maximum colour performance with 100% Grey coverage whilst improving the visible quality of hair and scalp comfort which where hair dyes are concerned, sounds like a dream to me.

I have wanted to go lighter whilst also keeping a warmer tone so I chose to try the Golden Light Brown shade which is a 6.3 in the hair colour chart. I'm hoping that it will lighten up my hair slightly but create a shiner, natural and golden eye catching shade.

Like with any hair dye, it's important to do a skin test to make sure it's safe for you to use, so I will be carrying out my 48 hour skin test today and I will be sure to let you know how I get on with this product in a couple of days time.

More information about Garnier Olia and the full range of shades can be found on the Garnier Olia site here.
