My nails always struggled when it came to growth, but after giving them lots of TLC over the last couple of years they seem to have gained a lot of strength and now fortunately, can grow nicely to a pleasant length without breaking or splitting. Having nice nails does make such a difference and with products like these Butter London Cuticle Oil and Eliminators*, your cuticle area can look super neat and healthy.
Since studying Beauty Therapy, I've always been a little obsessive over cuticles. I really don't like them and try my very best to banish them by nipping at them on a weekly basis, but whilst they are there I do like the area to look neat and tidy.
Up until now, I have been using my OPI Avoplex Cuticle Oil, which worked a dream but unfortunately the pipet split and consequently the product all spilt in my bag.
This Butter London Cuticle Oil is a definite match, possibly even slightly better. It keeps my cuticle area deeply nourished and looking lovely. I love to apply cuticle oil before bed or after I have painted my nails, it adds a lovely amount of moisture and keeps them from getting dry.
This vitamin enriched oil smells absolutely delicious, with the holiday scent of Coconut and Pineapple which lingers beautifully. I love that has a brush applicator, as it makes application super easy and trouble free.
The Butter London Melt Away Cuticle Eliminator is aimed to soften and gradually reduce your cuticle area if used weekly, although for those that are addicted to nipping at your cuticles as I am, it works an absolute dream at softening the existing cuticle perfectly to make pushing back, nipping and removal super easy and gentle. You can of course nip and push back your cuticle without any product, but I highly recommend using a softener such as this one as not only do you achieve a much neater finish but it really is so much easier to do.
I use this a few minutes before I am going to nip away my cuticles, to give it time to really sink in nicely. Like the Handbag Holiday Cuticle Oil, this also has a brush applicator which makes it a lot easier. The softener I used previously had a pump like feature, which although I used it to the end, it was a pain and I wasted quite a lot of product.
This unfortunately doesn't have a beautiful scent like the oil does, it's pretty much fragrance free but realistically who needs a scented cuticle softener?
I'm really impressed with these two products and now really want to try the Butter London pedicure products.
