This is completely different to what I normally post, however when Philips got in touch and offered to send me some electricals to get Summer ready I jumped at the chance.
I've wanted to get healthy for a while now, but to be honest up until now I just haven't really put in much effort. I don't have a terrible diet, but it's not the best. I'm a sucker for junk food but now I have this Philips Avance Juicer* in my life I have no excuses and to be honest, I'm absolutely loving it.

I'm no professional, but I know that Fresh Fruit and Vegetables are just wonders and it really is so important that you bare in mind the five a day rule and have a substantial amount of them in your balanced diet.
Each and every one works so well at keeping your body, hair and skin healthy and so really as well as water, us beauty girls should be fruit and veg crazy!

I am slightly picky when it comes to fruit and vegetables and though I do get a fair bit, I don't get the most variety in my meals, but since I started juicing I have tried so many things. My intake of the good stuff has increased massively and I'm sure it's doing wonders for both my body and skin.

Philips provided me with a hamper of fruits and vegetables as well as some recipe cards for me to try. They all tasted absolutely lovely and although some of the ingredients (Beetroot, Spinach and Parsnip!) wouldn't normally appeal to me, it's surprising I couldn't really taste them alongside the other ingredients. It's great to know that I can now get them into my diet without really knowing about it.
My favourite juice that I have come across, is definitely my Sherbert Lemonade that I found on Juice Master. It's definitely my kind of taste, a delicious citrus and sour refreshing drink! It's perfect in the mornings and really helps to settle my sweet tooth, which then keeps me out of the sweetie jar. It's of course packed with natural sugars, but I'd much prefer something fresh and homemade like that, than to something with ton's of added sugars and god knows what!

Although you could get creative and juice together whatever you like, there is so many recipes out there, to help find juices that suit you and what kind of intake you want. Including the very helpful Funky Fresh Juice Book by Jason Vale, that actually came with the Juicer. It has some amazing recipes including ones to help beat things like hay fever, lose weight, give you energy and detox!

The juicer itself is absolutely amazing and honestly I can't say a bad word about it. It's so quick to put together and use, it has a huge tube so no need for cutting up the foods beforehand, it looks great and even better- it's so easy to clean! I would hate if it was a bother to clean, as occasionally I can be a little lazy in the kitchen and it would probably put me off using it as often.

It's not the cheapest appliance available, costing £149.99 but if you're into juicing or like me, want to get a little more healthy with your diet then I really do recommend it.
You can get one of these little wonders from Currys, Juice Master and Philips online

It's a very welcomed new toy in my kitchen and my whole family are loving it. Is it something that you would enjoy to use?
