Garnier Olia Permanent Hair Colour- Golden Light Brown. Part two

Two days ago, I posted about the Garnier Olia hair dye in Light Golden Brown. My 48 hour skin test went absolutely perfectly, I didn't have any reaction what so ever so I went along with the application of the hair dye.

My hair colour isn't completely different after using this, though it is definitely lighter which is what I wanted. I don't think I have ever achieved that using a hair dye that's not bleach.
The product itself is such a pleasure to use. The formula is the first to be made with oils and with it being concentrated in Flower oils, on application it is so much nicer to use than others that I have used in the past. It applies into the hair really easily and doesn't have a harsh scent in the slightest, in fact it's pretty good and fresh! Sometimes when I colour my hair, I feel slight tingling on my scalp which probably isn't great, but with this I didn't feel any uncomfortable sensations. I think it's because it is Amonia free, which is a great factor in this product.

I left this on my hair in-between the two recommended times (one for full head and one for touch up) as I was a little concerned that if I left it on for the maximum of 30 minutes, the Golden tones would react too much with the Red tones I had previously and it turned out really well.

The packaging is all really simple and easy to use, especially the bottle you add the mixture to and apply to the hair from which works really well. I didn't end up getting it every where like I usually do which is a huge bonus. Whilst I'm on the subject of not getting it everywhere, something I really loved about this product is that I didn't end up with a stained head/ears. I just wiped the product away that made it onto my forehead and it was gone, which is dreamy as usually when I'm using an at home kit I end up a total mess for days!

I filmed the process of mixing, applying and rinsing the product as well as the results, if you're interested in seeing that above.

With 21 shades to choose from, if you're on the market for a permanent hair colour, I really do recommend this one.
