Bourjois Faux & Fabulous Event

This afternoon I popped along to the Bourjois HQ in London to have a little sneak peek of the new Faux & Fabulous collection. It was a fabulous cosmetic full afternoon, jam packed with beautiful nibbles and amazing company.

The Faux & Fabulous collection is a range of five sets of themed false lashes, all working towards different trends- Rock Chic, Smoky Eyes, Lady in Black, More Volume and Miss Couture.
They are all pretty stand out lashes, especially the fifth design Miss Couture which has been made in collaboration with Paperself- the worlds leading paper art lashes. They aren't your standard false lashes, but if you have a creative streak then these customisable paper lashes can be worn in so many different ways to create so many different looks. Sally O Neill, the make up artist demonstrating the products, used these by cutting the sections apart and applying them to both on the skin and the lashes with lash glue in a custom design which looked really fab and eye catching.

As well as the range of lashes, we were also introduced to a few new products and others that will be hitting the shelves very soon. These include a great pair of 2 in 1 eyelash applicator tweezers which have a curved end allowing a speedy and easy eyelash application and a soft angled tip on the other end which allows you to gently press down the lashes onto the lash line to ensure they are secure. Other products that we were introduced to were two fabulous new eye liners, firstly the Intuitive Liner that uses a dotting effect to ensure a precise and easy line and flick and another Khol Kajal liner that is currently exclusive to both the Selfridges Beauty Workshop and the Harvey Nichols BeautyMART, along with a Mascara which are both a part of the Queen Attitude line.

As if all of that fabulous-ness isn't enough for new arrivals to Bourjois' make up stands, they also have some new nail shades for A/W which are a metallic dream, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for them!

The Faux & Fabulous range is available as of next week in Boots, Superdrug and ASOS and cost from £3.49-£10.99.
The Intuitive Liner is available as of this month from Boots, Superdrug and ASOS for £6.99 and the Queen Attitude collection is available now in the Selfridges Beauty Workshop and the Harvey Nichols BeautyMART but will be available nationwide from November costing £6.99 and £9.49.

I have very kindly been given a few of these items to try, so I'll be sure to share them with you shortly.

What do you think of these new products? Do they sound like products you would like to try?
