London Fashion Week. Vauxhall Fashion Scout- DAS SS/13 & The Body Shop

I was very kindly given the opportunity by The Body Shop to attend a Vauxhall Fashion Scout show for London Fashion Week. The show that I went to see was the DAS Collection which was made up of such delicate, beautiful and elegant pieces.

The DAS Collection fuses both Middle Eastern and Indian inspirations to create an array of opulent and decadent looks. Each piece is made up of such rich and bold shades with luxurious and extravagantly textured fabrics and embroidery.

The models all graced the catwalk looking so stunning and their hair and make up was absolutely perfect. One of the official sponsors for Vauxhall Fashion Scout was The Body Shop, and so the make up seen on the catwalk was all perfectly down to them.

Before taking our seats at the Freemasons, I had the opportunity to speak to The Body Shop team where they took us through some of their new products. We was shown some of the powder products that come in an impressive collection of shades as you can see from the Colour Crush board pictured above and were used in multiple ways throughout the show, including as a blush, eyeshadows and even on their lips.
The Body Shop are massively known for their skincare and although that's mostly what they are about, I really do rate their cosmetics too especially after having a little go of the new All-in-one BB Cream. It has colour adapting technology which transforms from a cream to the most beautiful shade on your skin and leaves it feeling so velvety and soft. I'm not usually so into BB Creams, but I will definitely be making a purchase of this as it certainly deserves a place in my make up bag.

It was a really great experience having the chance to talk through the products and then see them live at London Fashion Week and I had a really fantastic evening.

The DAS Collection is available now in both Harrods and on harrods.com

What do you think of the collection and the make up used?
