New CID Cosmetics- i-volumise- Black Brown 2104

Ultimate Volumising Mascara

I was really excited to try this mascara because I am always looking around for a great new volumising product.

The packaging is very simple yet sleek, its in quite a small chunky tube which I really like.

The white packaging is nice, but I do prefer my make up packaging to be darker because I tend to get it a little dirty. Inside, I think the applicator would be better if it was dark because the product gets all over it and it looks a little messy.

The product itself is quite wet, which is nice to use but I find that because of that it isn't very dramatically nor volumising on my eyelashes. It almosts looks natural.

I got this is Black Brown but it is available in Black, which maybe contributes to the reason why I think its gives quite a natural effect.
My eyelashes need quite a bit of work, because theres barely anything there.
I don't think the fact that it looks more natural than dramatic is necessarily a bad thing, infact I like it, its nice to use for a day time mascara.
The bristles on the wand are a mixture of small chunky soft bristles with a longer spikey comb like bristle either side. I like that because it brushes through the lash and seperates but at first I didn't realise and scratched my upper water line a little which is a little uncomfortable. Whoops!!
This mascara costs £18 and is available on the New CID Cosmetics website.

New CID Cosmetics- i-glow- Coral Crush 0303

Compact Shimmer Powder with Mirror

Words literally can't express how I feel about this product. I LOVE IT!

"For a fresh, lumious look, dust i-glow Ice Pop or Coral Crush over the apples of cheeks, face, neck and shoulders with a big powder brush. Work the brush into different areas of the marbleised powder to pick up different shades"

The compact is quite square and chunky and I really love it. Its not as shiny packaging as the mascara, its more matted and its fab. The mirror inside covers the whole compact which is also fab.

The colours of the powder are marbleised pinks, corals and golds and when brushes onto the skin you are left with the most fresh, pretty colour. Its also really highlighting.

I just use it on the apples of my cheeks and it works wonderfully. Its really light and you don't need much product at all.

This costs £24 and is available in another shade Sirocco which is golden rather than coral.
