Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser

A few months ago I was very kindly sent some of this Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser to try out and being such a huge fan of yes, the Cleanse and Polish I couldn't wait to start using it.

I have always had a love hate relationship with skin care, as much as it's very necessary to keep your skin cared for there has been times when I have been such a fail at doing it, and so tend to keep it pretty simple.
Touch wood, I have never had any real problems with my skin. I've always been fortunate enough that I've never really had any issues, I don't suffer breakouts and never really have- apart from the odd hormonal ones!I'm not sure why, I've just been lucky in that department I suppose.

When it comes to moisturisers, I have never found one thats really become a holy grail product to me. The product that I've stuck the longest with for moisturising my face is the Oilatum Face Repair Cream, which I do really enjoy using. But for the past few months, I have ditched that for this product- Liz Earles Skin Repair Moisturiser for Normal/Combination skin.

This product is described as a balanced moisturiser that helps to soften, smooth and condition your skin for a natural healthy glow.
As well as conditioning your skin, like stated in the name of the product, it also contains antioxidants and vitamins that work to repair your skin, restoring the lost moisture and protecting it alongside.

"Intensely moisturises, smoothes and protects"

Like I said before, my skin is pretty well balanced, however, it does occasionally play up from time to time, sometimes areas tend to be a little oily and sometimes a little dry but I do feel that since using this product my skin has kind of kept my skin at the same level.
At first, I think I was using a little too much product and my skin was feeling a little over-moisturised/borderline oily but since I recognised this I started using a minimal amount and it is working really well for me.

I'm finding it really nice to use after my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, its the first time in a long time that I'm using both a cleanser and a moisturiser from the same brand.
When I go back to flying full time at the end of the month, I'm really hoping that this will replenish my skin after a long dehydrating flight.

I haven't noticed any dramatic changes in the appearance of my skin, but to be fair, this product doesn't claim to do any of that, it's just a moisturiser that claims to do one thing, and that's moisturise well.

It's quite a light consistency, and rubs into the skin really quite easily which is more than likely why I had a little bit of product overload to begin with. You really do need just a small amount of this day and night, for it to do the job nicely.
The product is ever so slightly scented, not perfumed or overwhelming, but full of the natural ingredients that Liz Earle are all about.

The 50ml tub is literally full to the top, and although the photo above was taken when I first got this, I'm still only about a third of the way down, which goes to show that this should and would last you a long time.

This product costs £18.75 which is possibly a little steep, I think it comes across a little more expensive to me, because of the price of the £13 price mark for the Cleanse & Polish which in my opinion is quite literally a dream. However, this is also a good product and does do what it promises to.

Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser is available in both Normal/Combination and Dry/Sensitive here, in either a 50ml jar or tube.

Have you tried any of the Liz Earle products and whats your favourite?
